Choose the work the surface needs.
From one failed area to a planned resurfacing programme, Atkinson Surfacing helps commercial site teams define the right scope.
01 / Find the right route
Start with what is happening on site.
The scale of the failure, the condition around it and how the site operates all affect the appropriate work. These four routes provide a practical starting point.
Isolated pothole or patch repair
For a contained failed area where the surrounding asphalt may still be suitable for a defined local repair.
02Planned resurfacing
For car parks, roads or yards with wider wear, repeated patching or a need for coordinated resurfacing.
03Urgent defect or make-safe work
For a surface failure affecting access or safety now, where the immediate condition needs to be discussed first.
04Inspection or maintenance discussion
For site teams reviewing developing defects, recurring repairs or future maintenance priorities across a property.

02 / Published project
Sand Moor Golf Club, Leeds.
The existing car park surface was planed before approximately 300 tonnes of SMA10 were machine laid across around 2,000 m².
The work was completed over three days while the golf club remained operational. New white lining and disabled parking bays were completed before handover in August 2021.
