02 / Delivery

From existing surface to finished site.

The exact construction varies by site. The sequence below shows how planned resurfacing is taken from initial scope through preparation, laying, compaction and handover.

01

Survey and scope

Review the existing surface, access, drainage interfaces, vehicle movements and the areas that need to remain available.

02

Planing and preparation

Remove failed material or the existing surface to the agreed depth, then prepare the area for the new asphalt.

03

Machine laying

Lay the specified asphalt by machine to establish a controlled, consistent surface across the working area.

04

Rolling and compaction

Compact the newly laid material in stages while the surface is at the correct working temperature.

05

Line marking and handover

Complete the agreed markings, inspect the finished work and return the area to the client in planned phases.
